Through years of listening to educator feedback, they’ve optimized their screen recorder with a variety of annotation tools and a robust (yet simple) video editor to make it easier than ever to create visually appealing, engaging tutorials for students.

What’s more, until recently, creating interactive screencasts with embedded questions that students answer while watching the videos used to require a multi-step, multi-app process. Screencastify’s new interactive questions tool eliminates that hassle, and now teachers can embed multiple-choice questions directly into a tutorial. Students get realtime feedback on their responses, simultaneously saving teachers time while helping increase comprehension and self-efficacy. A win-win-win.

Plus, Screencastify allows teachers to create video assignments even if students don’t have the Screencastify extension installed on their device.
